What to Expect

Holy Cross is a place to be still, meditate, worship, and meet some good people from different Christian backgrounds. Our message is Jesus Christ, what He has done for humanity and what that means for everyone and everything. At Holy Cross you will not hear moralism or manipulation, but will always hear of the One who became flesh for us. Sermons and classes are informed within the great Spiritual tradition of the Church.

In our liturgies we pray, read from Scripture, confess sin, receive forgiveness, and celebrate the Sacraments. In our Sunday morning Holy Communion service, we use the Book of Common Prayer (1928) and traditional hymns; in the meeting of The Priory, we use a newer liturgy drawn from several different sources. If you are unfamiliar with our worship, we have a service booklet that will guide you through either service.

All Christians who would receive communion in their home church are invited to receive communion with us. And a nursery (unstaffed) is always available at the 10:30 AM Sunday service.
